Came across this (below) promotion video from Lancashire Police, featuring Rebecca Smith detailing her career. Her (at the time) passion was covert policing, but she apparently is managing two departments dealing with child abuse and so-called high-end crimes involving drugs and weapons. My question is this: How does she end up in the Missing Mums Department, being handed a case (Nicola Bulley) concerning a supposed drowning with no evidence of criminal intend or even third party involvement?
