I've recommended another YouTube channel in this listing1, this time a channel doing body language analysis. It's one of the better at this, IMO, and the creator has knowledge of the cases which makes his assessment more creditable. He did a two part analysis on the Ramsey's, and they're not too long, so I recommend giving them a try. I have noticed certain things language wise that stood out as I became aware of what was going on in relation to the facial expressions. My comments below.

Misspoke, interesting indeed. He can't wait to say "I" because this is all about himself. He's ego driven, and Jonbenet is already a thing of the past. He's just rattling off cliches.

Interestingly she's appalled that anyone would think "John or I" would be involved but only assures that she was not involved. The "or" sounds slightly off in this prepared statement. Did someone think only one of them was involved? Using "I" instead of "we" isn't coincidental as pronoun "I" is used again when assuring that she had nothing to do with it. Actually, she must have seen the need to dismiss any idea that she killed Jonbenet and that she had anything to do with it, whatever "it" is. Is it supposed to cover the ransom note business? Anyway, she leaves John hanging out there -- and he also only addresses his own lack of guilt -- so there's no unity expressed here as both chose pronoun "I" instead of "we"; it hints at some level of mistrust between them.

Finding the killer: "I have that as a sole mission for the rest of my life.". Well, it would be really stupid to keep looking for what ever is remaining of his life if he found the killer. But of cause his statement makes perfect sense if he is confident the killer will never be found.
@7:22
Why would it matter that God knows who it is?
@7:40
"...the killer of our daughter...", extreme distancing, why not use the active voice: "Jonbenet's killer"?
@7:48
Note John's lips mimicking "knows", all prepared and rehearsed by their PR team. Even more prominent in another video2 I commented on.
@8:40
"...may have confided in...". She continues talking nonsense as we have the killer (one) plus the killer's confidant (one) equals two, so "may" sinks her own claim. Of cause it's pointless to offer a reward unless there's at least one confident. Unless, of cause, something leading to the killer leaked through some other channel. It's actual quite interesting they would see a need to lecture the public in this way or is it simply a way to build a narrative around an intruder? If the Ramsey's themselves were involved, they must be very confident they can control every possible leak. It could also be an attempt to flood the police with useless tips.

Interesting that they considered Atlanta their home while they lived in Boulder. Obviously, finding Jonbenet's killer had not become his sole mission yet, LOL. The truth is that he wanted to get the hell out of Dodge, the sooner the better!

"Unbelievable", what a strange word to use. It was a factual observation of their behavior and statistically their involvement was very likely whether he liked it or not. Note the nodding, appealing to the interviewer.
@5:55
Actually, he first claimed he would pass 100%, then stated he would be offended if asked. After this he tried the character witness trick3.
@6:07
Note how Patsy interjects herself into the conversation with her rehearsed "There's a murderer loose!" BS, as if that would throw off the polygraph. Patsy looked particularly dumb and out of sync with John during this part of the Barbara Walters interview.
@6:35
Correction, they were scared of getting busted.

Classic ad hominem attack/fallacy: Linda Arndt can't judge me since she hasn't lost a six-year-old daughter.

WTF, is this a Ken & Barbie competition? There are even worse pictures where Burke is also posing, looking like a girl. No wonder he's screwed up. I agree the smile is ingrained in him; it's become second nature, and he's probably not even aware he's doing it.
