From the Sixth Floor Museum today: "This photo from the Museum’s collections shows Ashland Burchwell, a 22-year-old arrested on September 30, 1962 with a stash of weapons intended for General Edwin Walker and a pro-segregation riot at University of Mississippi. On April 10, 1963, Lee Harvey Oswald allegedly shot at Walker with the Mannlicher-Carcano rifle found seven months later at the Texas School Book Depository building. #ObjectOfTheWeek #JFKAssassination #Assassination #SchoolBookDepository Credit: Bill Winfrey Collection, The Dallas Morning News/The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza"
