To some, despite her exposure as a fraud many times over, Beverly Oliver remains the Babushka Lady as seen in many images taken in Dealey Plaza before, during and after the assassination of President Kennedy. But who was she really and what happened to her and the pictures she took?  |

It has always fascinated me how she has remained anonymous. Wasn't Robert Croft or someone visited by the FBI in his
hotelroom? He wasn't from Dallas and didn't use his own name at the hotel, but they found him. It is also bizarre that this
lady manages to keep her face hidden in all the Dealey Plaza images in which she appears! Would she still be alive? Did
she have children? Did anyone ever see her photographs? Friends, family? How does this remain a mysterie?

Babushka Lady in Allen photo. She is carrying a Tower Box 120 camera. How can you make that claim with any degree of validity? If this image from the Couch film had been sharper, would you be able to see her face? If this image was sharper... would you be able to see a moving film camera in her hands? |

The identification comes from a comparison of images of the Babushka-Lady, especially the Allen-photo
above, and camera's in Sears Catalogs from the late 50s and early 60s. It looked like she was carrying
a box-camera. Denis Morissette identified it as a Tower Box 120 camera. There were many similar looking
models, but I think he is right.
