I'm creating this thread to add some more information about Adele Edisen and her remarkable story. ( Back to Erasing # 448) She arrived in Washington to meet with Colonel Rivera on April 22, 1963. Adele and Rivera arrived at Blackies House of Beef, on the edge of Georgetown. This is where Rivera began telling her about his recent travels to Dallas. He recommended the Carousel Club, and asked if Adele (who was from New Orleans) knew a Lee Oswald. After telling her about Oswald's adventures in the Soviet Union. Edisen thought Oswald was a fellow medical researcher. After they had finished dinner, Rivera spoke of the recent shooting in Dallas at General Walker and mentioned "You know, they think Oswald did it." The Walker shooting occurred on April 10. It was still seven months until the JFK assassination.
