Looking through an early Secret Service deposition by Buell Wesley Frazier in preparation for a post to my thread on Oswald's first day at the TSBD I noticed the most bizarre misspelling of his sister Linnie [Mae] Randle's name. it's a two page document linked here: Below I've highlighted the real problem: Wesley, presumably, made and initialed one correction in the same paragraph but left the absurd misspelling uncorrected, yet approves his statement of two pages and signs it! I know Wes had grammar issues, and the statement is obviously prepared, but I simply refuse to accept he would not spot such misspelling. Anyone?

I've made worse correction blunders! He could have already corrected the name in an earlier deposition (if there was one) or his sister may have corrected her name in her own deposition? The one correction he did make, was not a spelling correction. Maybe they said, never mind the spelling, check the facts. That's what my editor says.
The implication, if this is not a mishap, is that Frazier never checked his deposition at all?

As per LMR's affidavit she knew how to spell her own name, no surprises here, but something I hadn't noticed before was that Frazier's first day affidavit doesn't mention his sister at all (no need to spell her name) and same goes for his March FBI statement. That's contrary to the Secret Service report.
What I did notice RE the March FBI reports, that I missed previously, is that many of the witnesses say they have read "this" page, and even two others, but only one is shown in the exhibit and you wouldn't know there were more when you go through the statement unless it was specifically mentioned. This is but one example (FBI page #12):
There is only one conclusion, as the page numbers are consecutive: this shit was originally edited by the FBI! In the cover letter Hoover notes that some "stuff" had to be removed due to concerns RE certain peoples addresses. So two pages out of three were addresses???
Looks like you can add CE 1381 to your endless list of suppressed evidence!
In summary, to me the misspelled name in the Frazier statement looks like "phonetic" spelling to me. May have been a late addition to a draft Wes "approved". Legally you can't mess with a signed document but corrections like "House"/W.F. is also seen in his November 22 affidavit, initialed in exactly the same way. Anyway, doesn't really explain why he didn't fix his sister's name while he was at it doing the other correction....
