Arlen Specter wrote a memo to J. Lee Rankin. (April 30, 1964)

He then misinterpreted the twelve-degree transverse angle shown on CE-385 as a declination angle and incorrectly concluded that explanation of this slight 12-degree angle required that the President was farther down Elm Street than previously believed. The objection raised by Specter would be easily resolved by imparting a 9-degree lean to the posture of Kennedy when shot. The problem with this resolution is that someone should have reviewed the motion picture and still films of the assassination to determine as exactly as possible the postures of Kennedy when shot in the back and shot in the head. Rydberg Drawing of a Longitudinal Hole
Ironically, Specter next paragraph foretells of someone comparing the films with the Rydberg drawings and finding a significant error that might affect the essential testimony and the Commission’s conclusions.

Kinda like this? Once you add the shirt and hole back... it becomes quite obvious what and why Ford did what he did

And another showing how far over JFK needed to be for the bullet to RISE after being shot from 90+ feet in the air
